The boys at battle school are the best of the best. Some of the best thinkers and strategist, but when they speak it sounds broken. For example "You not anybody till you gots you first kill."(47) The boys take out words they deem unnecessary and make their slang sound simplistic. I don't understand why these children who are so bright talk like they do. They are just children, but even now, in present time ,children as old as Ender speak more grammatically correct compared to the kids at battle school.
I agree with Kyle's point on the language. I like how he said that children in present time talk more gramatically correct than children at battle school.
