Ender the Perfect Mixture
Valentine and Peter Wiggin are complete opposites. Valentine is kind and caring, and Peter is cruel and deceiving. Ender is a perfect balance of them both. Like Valentine he is kind and is able to love which allows him to understand his adversary's, but he is also able to manipulate his opponents with his deeper understanding of their tendencies. It makes him the perfect soldier. Ender however doesn't like being like his brother Peter at all. i understand why he wouldn't want to be like Peter, but Ender should realize what he shares with Peter has only made him better.

Kyle is right in saying that Ender is the perfect combination of Peter and Valentine. Ender definitely does not want to act like his brother. I like how Kyle says that what Ender shares with Peter, only makes him better.
ReplyDeleteYa I agree that Ender is a the perfect mixture of Valentine and Peter, which is probably why Ender made it to Battle School and Peter and Valentine didn't. It's also true that Ender has learned a lot from his brother, including fighting techniques and how to hide his feelings. I also liked your post on the Battle School language. Keep up the good observations!
ReplyDeleteGood post Kyle, Ender is a pefect mix of Valentine and Peter, Graff sates it to Ender, that is why he is a third, the people at the battle school need someone like Ender to hold the world on his shoulders.
